Hey everyone! I'm finally ready to share my Love Monkey icons with the world =) I really hope you enjoy them, and that all this anticipation wasn't for nothing ;)

Also, I figured out the problem I was having with Photobucket, I just had to change an option, so now you can see my previous wallpapers in their full 1024x768 glory..

Also, beware, this is a multi-fandom post =)

I've made a new wallpaper. This one isn't too fancy, to tell the truth, I'm struggling to get good caps, the quality of the show I have isn't great and the pics on the official site are off somehow. I don't know, they are dull or something... Anyway, enough complaining, what do you do when you don't have high quality caps? Make icons! So back to the grindstone I go...

Meanwhile, enjoy this wallpaper. It's of Tom, the caps are from the second episode in the scene were Zoe goes ballistic on the asshole record exec guy. Focus less on the scene and more on the adorableness that is Tom.

x-posted everywhere that matters, apologies in advance.

I'm really enjoying this show. So much so that it inspired me to get a little bit creative..

The collaboration between Zoe and Wayne, while being the obvious choice from the get-go despite all their humming and hawing, sounded really neat. I keep watching that last scene over and over.

Anyhow, here it is, my first Love Monkey wallpaper. I think photobucket shrank it, the original is 1024x768 and if you are interested in having it, just drop me a line! In fact, if you at all like it, please leave a note and let me know =) Feel free to take it and enjoy it, just please don't pass it off as your own..

It's a bit quiet around here. :/

I have a feeling that I'm not going to like Julia. There's just something about the actress that rubs me the wrong way. She seems a bit stiff in her acting. Maybe I'll warm up to her during later episodes, but for right now I don't much like her. Although I'm not big on the best friends = true love aspect that I know the show is going for, if Tom has to be with Bran instead of Julia, right now I would be ok with it.

I was reading over at TWOP that the second episode lost viewers, which worries me a bit. Going up against Law & Order: SVU can't be good. Hopefully Love Monkey will find its audience soon. The show is a little rough around the edges, but I think with time it can mature to be something great.

I kept wondering where I had seen the actor who plays Wayne before. He looked really familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. Turns out he was on that stupid Partridge Family thing on VH1. I'm glad that didn't hurt his career much. I love John Mayer and although Teddy whatshisname is ok, he just comes off as a John Mayer wannabe to me and I personally don't see as much talent there.

Does anybody have music from the 2 shows so far? I have 'Love is A Marathon', which is the song Teddy Geiger a.k.a. Wayne sang at the end of the first episode, and 'Try Too Hard', which is the song that Wayne was playing when Tom and Zoe went to the studio. They are both very, very good.

Does anyone have 'Inner Pain'? I really enjoyed the last one with Wayne, but I will take either one. This is shaping up to be a great show.

It's been getting pretty good reviews, and I liked it, so it will probably get cancelled soon. We'll see when the ratings come out tomorrow!
